I planted a small cutting bed this year for the first time...sunflowers and zinnias. It started out well, but it has been so hot and dry that it looks pretty sad right now. As I post this, however, it is raining. We're having scattered thundershowers. I'd like to see it rain all night.

Yes, I do love sunflowers! The dry weather is affecting us here at the Cape too! We are due for some rain, also. I'm looking forward to it! Love your flowers!
