That was the challenge for last Monday's CCEE challenge. Use address labels in some way on a card. I chose to stamp and emboss a large background (Bamboo II) on a sheet of labels. Then when you peel and stick them onto your project, you space them apart a little to allow the background color to show, creating a grid effect. I have to admit I was a little doubtful about this technique, but am rather pleased with how it turned out.
Recipe: stamps- Bamboo II, Oriental Gardens (ginko leaf)...both SU, sentiment (PSX); Ink- black archival, VersaMark; paper- black, off-white; accessories- adhesive backed address labels, black embossing powder.

I was just doing a little BLOG hopping and stopped by your Blog. I'm so glad I did...You have done some lovely things!
I think I just may be copying the idea of using the address labels, I really need an appropriate large stamp.
This card is stunning!
